Vista Linda is an open camprground right beside the Jemez River, making for excellent fishing access (even for people in wheelchairs).

General notes:	The forest service says that fishing is best in winter. Two miles south of the campground is a grocery story with telephone and fax services. The campground is near the highway, so road noise might be a problem. Sites 3 and 11 are double sites.

Getting to the campground:

From exit 242 on I-25, heast northwest on US 550 toward Cuba. After about 23 miles, you will turn right in San Ysidro onto NM 4 torward Jemez Pueblo and Jemez Springs. Head north for about 13 miles, and the campground will be on your left.

About the campground:

	The campground is fairly open, as you can see here. This means it will be sunny and could be hot in the summer. However, the sun will be an asset in the winter.
because of the summer sun issues, some of the campsites have these shelters. You can also see a tent pad beside this structure.
	Some of the campsites, such as site 3 shown here, are double sites. We like these sites when we are camping with friends.
This small dam creates a pond-like area. You can also see the edge of the handicapped fishing pad on the left side of the picture.
